Junk Cars – a question asked of Fayette County Commissioner Candidates & local candidates

As candidates for county commissioners and local offices are placing radio ads, doing Facebook, on local talk shows and meeting & greeting, we are hearing the Candidates & property owners aka voters talk about Quality of Life and how they are going to help in that regard, if Re-Elected or elected.

Fayette County’s Planning, Zoning, Community Development Office has a Proposed Junked Car Ordinance that was scheduled for a public hearing in October but has been rescheduled for November.   Residents who are interested in their Quality of Life and/or junked cars etc should take note and attend the public hearing.  For information about the upcoming public hearing call the county zoning office at 724-430-1211  . The information about this hearing and all others should be on the county’s website but they do not post upcoming hearings etc (even though they should)  Read Proposed Amendment for the Storage of Junked Vehicles(my info here is limited so contact the county office)
